Phillip C. Hester

Company I, 2nd Michigan Infantry

Phillip enlisted in the 2nd Infantry at Homer, Michigan on February 25, 1864 at the age of 36. He reached the Regiment in April of 1864. He was captured near Petersburg, Virginia on July 30, 1864. His Muster Out record ends with his capture and his ancestors state that he never returned home and is thought to have died in a Confederate Prison camp.
