CSS Virginia vs the Monitor

The account given in Wikipedia is clearly inclined towards favoring the United States ship, as many details are given about the monitor while very few are enumerated about the Virginia. In fact, the north made many copies of the Virginia, and those reproductions of the Virginia proved much more servicable to the north than was the Monitor-type ship. In fact, the Monitor sunk in the Atlantic due to its unseaworthiness in rough water. The ironside ships like the Virginia-on both sides-made a much greater impact than the Monitor type vehicles.
